The London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) has announced that it will be issuing a series of pin badges to celebrate its six strands of diversity and inclusion and engage all communities to support London 2012. LOCOG is committed to making sure London 2012 is everyone’s Games where people from all backgrounds can take part and feel inspired. London’s diversity was one of the reasons it was chosen to host the Games. (read more...)

The four-time gold medalist from the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games and Sochi 2014 Ambassador, Irek Zaripov, paused in his training to speak to a group of children with a disability about the upcoming Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi. Also discussing the history of the Paralympics and Russian success in Vancouver 2010, more than 20 pupils from the Viktoria and Solnyshko rehabilitation centers for children with a disability came to the Sochi 2014 Joint Information Centre to meet the Russian Paralympic hero.(read more...)

The Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games Organizing Committee has started the final phase of the process in choosing the company responsible for creating the first edition of the South American Olympic Games brand. Recently, representatives for the eight finalist companies participated in a technical briefing with the guidance on content and ways of presenting the creative proposals.
